Help me make sense of Palin’s pregnancy and her approval rating?
I’ll be voting for McCain/Palin but I don’t understand all this talk about her pregnancy. How is it the woman has an over 80% approval rating in Alaska, but all the questions I read on here make it sound like she is some scandalous embarrassment? Are there any Alaskans on here? Can anyone who is not in Alaska explain what they think aboout her over 80% approval rating?
My guess about the pregnancy being hidden for so long…and the reason she didn’t discuss it…is because as a woman she is torn between the balance of children and work. I assume she didn’t want her constituents to be concerned that her attention would be divided. Anyone else agree? Any other takes?
Every actress on a TV show hides her pregnancy (unless a new baby is in the script) so I compare it to that. You’re personally not ashamed of it, it’s just that you need to do your job. I’m thinking that the press or people posting must be making a much bigger deal than it is….over 80% is a lot!!
Because there are a lot of idiots in Yahoo Answers who hide behind their little laptop giggling and trying to spread rumors.

She’s the Governor of Alaska, a busy lady. She didn’t keep it a secret, she just didn’t announce it to the public until later on which is understandable.
